Commencement ceremonies begin this week for the University and the School, and while most events will be held virtually, all will be available to livestream or replay at your convenience. More information about how to attend these virtual events is below.

We encourage our students and their families to post on social media so we can include personal photos and shoutouts in our celebrations. 2021 Doctoral Graduate Recognition

Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. ET

Join us to hear a message from Dr. Vijay Kumar, Nemirovsky Family Dean and Professor in Penn Engineering, and view a virtual roll call of the Class of 2021 doctoral graduates, complete with video messages from our graduates and members of the Penn Engineering faculty.

The virtual celebration will premiere here on Thursday, May 13, at 10:00 a.m. ET. and will remain publicly available to view at your convenience.

2021 Undergraduate and Master’s Graduate Recognition

Friday, May 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. ET

Join us to hear a message from Dr. Vijay Kumar, Nemirovsky Family Dean and Professor in Penn Engineering, remarks from student speakers and respected alumni, and messages from professors and parents. In addition, we will host a virtual roll call for the Class of 2021 undergraduate and master’s graduates and each student will be recognized with their own individual tile.

The Penn Engineering Class of 2021 virtual celebration video and roll call site will premiere here on Friday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m. ET and will remain publicly available to view at your convenience.

University of Pennsylvania Commencement Ceremonies

Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. ET

President Amy Gutmann will host the University’s celebration of the Class of 2021 bachelors graduates on the morning of Monday, May 17, 2021 on Franklin Field.
