More on Nanoscale Membranes with Chinedum Osuji

The White House National Science and Technology Council’s National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) coordinates between the many federal agencies and institutions that support nanoscale research. It also educates the public on the potential applications of that research, featuring leading scientists and engineers on a series of podcasts.

Chinedum Osuji, Eduardo D. Glandt Presidential Professor and chair of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, is the guest on the latest episode of NNI’s “Nano Matters.”

In this episode, Osuji discusses his work developing nanostructured polymer membranes for a variety of applications, including water purification, battery improvement, and chemical separation. He and his colleagues recently published a new study of their membranes in the journalĀ Science Advances.

More episodes of “Nano Matters” can be found on NNI’s YouTube channel, Apple Podcasts, Spotify or Stitcher.
